VIDEO assembly instruction PDF or the Lifetime assembly video . The lid is made from reinforced polyethylene, fitted with full-length galvanised steel hinge pins. A spring-loaded lift up lid allows full and easy access to the box, and it can be locked (no padlock supplied).
High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is one of the most environmentally preferred plastics because it is 100% recyclable, does not create harmful emissions during production and does not leak toxic chemicals into soil or water. Lifetime HDPE production includes premiere UV-Inhibitors and light fast pigments to make these sheds very resistant to heat and extended exposure to the harmful UV rays of the sun. This UV protection is the best on the market and ensures that Lifetime products will not crack, chip, or peel.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Like the other reviews say, it's designed well. However, after sitting on my knees on top of it there are two indentations. It doesn't impair the use, but it was disappointing. You can see the interior structure trying to poke through the surface on the lid.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Prior to purchasing my new Lifetime Deck Box, I researched virtually every other brand available. I spoke with neighbours and looked at their boxes, all of which are only rated 1-3 Stars on various sites. I found a few sites that actually sold and had Customer Reviews for the Lifetime Deck Box, virtually all of which are 5 Stars. Based upon the 5-Star Reviews and product photos, I decided to order the Lifetime Deck Box. There is none that can match the quality and price of this box. Now my neighbours are considering replacing their "Brand Names" with one that is virtually unknown and will eventually be "The Paradigm" of deck boxes. Thank you for a truly quality product. It pays to do your homework prior to making any purchase.
Reviewer: Bulldog7491 from Quality Build And Assembly. Designed for easy installation, sturdy panels, engineered to hold together. The assembly went smoothly with a few additional tools: a rubber mallet - to firmly seat the side panels, a small head steel tapping hammer - to properly align the metal front flange, and a high torque, low speed drill to quickly and easily seat the bolts. All in all assembly went faster than I anticipated.

Reviewer: Working With Small Space from The Best That I Have Seen! I would recommend this to a friend. I use my 130 gallon deck box to store the large cushions to my patio furniture. The plastic is thick and very strong. This box does not just snap together, it has hardware that comes with it (screws, brackets etc.) which are heavy duty as well making the box very strong and sturdy to be used as additional seating. This box is not flimsy at all. I looked at all the other brands over the past year before purchasing this one. The disadvantage for me is that the box is only 20.75 inches wide on the inside so my large cushions will not lay flat. Because the cushions have to stand up, all of the cushions will not fit. :-( If this box was about 2 inches wider or was available in 140 to 150 gallons, I would give it 5 stars! Though it only comes in the one colour, it happens to go well with my grey and sand coloured patio furniture. Although a wider box would store all of my cushions, I chose this one because of its quality and it's sale price. I plan to use it for a very long time!
Reviewer: Skye from Wonderful... I have outdoor chairs sets with voluminous cushions and this deck box works perfectly to stash the pillows when not needed. The deck box is waterproof, so the cushions don't get wet and it seems to keep insects out, too. It is sturdy and can be used for extra seating. They wipe down easily and are relatively quick to assemble - I have three of them so the first one took the longest, but the other two were faster to put together. The instructions are clear, but you must be detail-oriented when looking at the pictures.
