Quality Construction

This garden building is manufactured using high quality, slow-growing, sustainable Scandinavian Pine from well managed FSC or PEFC CERTIFIED forests. All models are constructed using 16mm nominal (approx. 12mm finished) tongue and groove shiplap timber walls, along with tongue and groove roofs and floors, however this can be upgraded to a massive 22mm nominal thickness (approx. 18mm finished) if required. Please note that NO chipboard or OSB is used in the construction of ANY TGB building. These TGB buildings are supplied pre-treated with an Eco-Friendly preservative basecoat in Light Brown. Strong, smoothed, rounded and planed framing has been used internally, which is doubled at the corners for extra strength. Mineral roofing felt is supplied to keep the roof watertight.

Our 'Storm-Braced' sheds are very strong, and all have diagonal internal bracings on the walls to help the building withstand the effects of storm-force winds. Unfortunately mother nature can be very cruel at times, therefore we aren't able to guarantee any shed against extreme weather conditions, however these buildings will definitely last much longer than standard models.
 
 

Preservative

TGB garden buildings are supplied pre-treated with a quality brown, non-toxic preservative base coat. This ensures that your garden building is ready to accept any preservative colour of your choice. Alternatively we can supply them made from long-lasting Tanalised pressure-treated timber with a 15-year anti-rot warranty, or you can have your building factory-painted in a choice of 12x popular colours (maximum 2x colours per building). These look great, and don't require any additional painting immediately... please contact us for details.

Doors, Locking System & Windows

A fully-framed and braced, heavy-duty single door (762mm wide) is supplied complete with heavy-duty, security-bolted galvanised hinges, and a padlock protector as standard. This building features a narrow glass window (1220mm x 150mm) for light and security. The door can be positioned anywhere around the building, however this must be decided at the time of order. Professional Assembly Included

We will install your TGB garden building at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE although some geographical limitations apply. Our PROFESSIONAL ASSEMBLY SERVICE covers approx. 90% of the UK mainland population, and requires non-restrictive access and a suitable base/site.
 
 

DIY Assembly Video

Assembling your building yourself can be very satisfying and it has several advantages: you probably won't have to wait as long for delivery, you can assemble it on a day suitable to you, you can pre-treat the panels beforehand allowing the best possible protection for your building, and we may even be able to offer you an additional discount so you'll save even more money! TGB Sheds, Playhouses and Summerhouses come with all the fixings and fastenings you need, but to make things even easier, here is an installation video that you can follow showing the assembly of a typical TGB building.
 

 

 
 

Optional Extras

This garden building is supplied as a full kit, complete with all necessary fixings, fastenings, glazing and roofing materials. Optional extras include professional assembly, framing and wall thickness upgrades, double doors, opening windows, heavy flooring, verandahs, log-lap cladding, toughened glass etc. The building can also be made to a bespoke size or configuration... please call for details.

Sizes shown above are finished sizes (not nominal), however you should note that the roof will extend beyond the Body Size shown above. Information shown above has been supplied by the manufacturer, and is as accurate as possible (errors and omissions excepted), however it is intended only as a guide. This high quality building has an expected lifespan well in excess of 15-years. We recommend that you install the building on a solid, free-draining base, with at least 60cm free space all around for maintenance and to avoid splashback. You should treat all sections with a high quality, spirit-based preservative prior to assembly, and subsequently every year in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Please ensure that regular general maintenance is carried out on all moving parts, and that the roofing felt is regularly inspected, and replaced if required.

 


Delivery

All products are delivered sectional/flat-packed to kerbside unless stated otherwise. *The free installation service covers most of mainland Scotland and England, however delivery to outlying areas may be subject to an additional charge, see map below.

Delivery lead time shown is typical for most areas, however this is approximate and cannot be guaranteed. Assembly will add an average of 1-2 weeks to your lead time, therefore please check before ordering if delivery time is critical. Buildings supplied with a non-standard option or bespoke sizes cannot be returned under any circumstances, therefore please ensure that you order correctly. We're here for advice if you're not sure!

Delivery times and sizes given are approximate and are intended only as a guide, and you should contact us prior to purchase if you have specific requirements. Manufacturers may describe their products using approximate dimensions as an indication of size, however a more precise dimension will be shown in the product description. Please check carefully before ordering, and note that manufacturers allow a tolerance of +/- 1.5mm when machining timbers, therefore we cannot be exact when quoting sizes. 

Please note that timber buildings will have minor cosmetic imperfections, and normal variances (including small knot holes, natural cracks, checks and shakes). These are perfectly natural, giving wood it's unique character, and are not classed as faults.

Standard un-assembled products can be returned at your expense within 14-days following delivery, however specially ordered items, bespoke items, and items delivered direct by the manufacturer from overseas cannot be cancelled or returned under any circumstances. 

*Some deliveries may be subject to a surcharge if you are in an area not covered by the manufacturers delivery policy (i.e. The Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, etc.). If you are out-with a free delivery area you will be notified upon placing your order. A small delivery charge applies on sundries and lower value items, and if you require a upgraded service.
